RHINO ROCK BOX disc 10 The BRIT BOX

Rhino Rock Box disc 10  : the Brit Box ..  On continuation from the first entry.. The Brit Box ..

This was a more involved box set.. The discs were packaged in a dual box so disc one and two were in one box and three and four were in another.. The booklet was shorter in stature to fit in so that the top of the box, the phone booth housed the lights for the blinking sign ..  Quite possibly the most involved box set they have ever made.. Would the music hold up?? 

Vapour Trail by Ride.. A sad sounding vocal but a very nice song.. It is a different feeling to listen to most of this music on this set.. I would rarely incorporate any of my regular music into my listening session when I would listen to this set.. It was an all Brit rock session..

Flying by the Telescopes .. Again another vocal of the low ..  register I guess...  Interesting progressions .. Interesting music..

Pearl by Chapterhouse.. This one is one of those.. So low of vocals reminds me of David Gilmours Narrow Way part three where you can't tell what he is saying, by design he hated the lyrics that he had to write for that song..  The break on Pearl was said to sound a lot like John Bonham but I thought it sounded more like the start of Kiss Them For Me by Siouxsie and The Banshees.. You decide..

 Coast Is Clear by Curve..   

You by Five Thirty...     How long can this go on..
