Rhino Rock Box disc 10 : The Brit Box .. They nic-named it the British Invasion second coming.. This contains what they called "shoe gaze" which just simply means that most of these artists would stand on stage and look down.. Some might have been looking at their fret board while others were in fact looking at the ground (their shoes hence shoe gaze).. Why they did this is anyones guess.. They were the era before the emo rock or they were just as the start of the emo movement.. To me the emo movement in popular music was the lost generation, the now generation that seems lost.. They have wars to protest and yet the wars aren't prime in everyones minds like Vietnam was for the sixties and early seventies.. My inability to identify with nearly nothing from America is what lead me to listen to groups from anywhere else.. And so that is why this set came to be in my possession.. So here it is.. The Brit Box :

She Bangs The Drums by The Stone Roses.. I heard a lot of these groups for the first time when we got the XM satellite radio and that live channel, the concerts.. Fantastic groups.. Great music..
