WORLDS MOST DANGEROUS PARTY

Well let's get this party started.. James Brown, DOING IT TO DEATH.. Track one from the world's most dangerous party.. On the album (tape) it is Paul Schaffer and his band at the time the worlds most dangerous band just shortly before moving from NBC to CBS from Late Night with David Letterman to the Late Show with David Letterman... so here it is then, the start of a good time party.

A live version of Something About You by Level 42...

I Was Made To Love Her by Stevie Wonder...

Burning Down The House    Talking Heads from the Stop making sense movie.. I got that movie and it really is worth having.. Great show.. Great band.. Too bad they aren't around anymore..

Mysterious  Ways  by U2...

Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)  Marvin Gaye...

Black Dog by the greatest   LED ZEPPELIN ...

Middle Of The Road... The Pretenders...

Don't Dream It's Over   by Crowded House..  Up until a few years ago I really only cared about the greatest hits album by them.. Then I heard the first concert, a BBC in concert show that was on the old live channel on XM radio, and I got hooked on their music..

Could You Be Loved by Bob Marley.. ow this is where the tape ends.. Tape one ends and you have to get tape two in and I was going to split this up and have tape one be Sunday night and have tape two tonight but I already had the entry for yesterday done two weeks ago and thought I'd just leave it alone.. So here it is the full show (as it were)..  Here we go, got the tape set to go, push play and here it is.. The crowd gets louder and here it starts..  As Paul starts to get the Hammond B wound up.. Chest Fever starts..

Couldn't get the live version to be found.. Chest Fever by Three Dog Night...

Prince Party Like It's 1999...   Well no video to put up here.. Couldn't find a single one on the 'tube so.. But that was the next song on the album..

Jump by Van Halen...The original lineup with Diamond Dave on the lead vox..

Fantasy by Earth   Wind and Fire    back to live...

Not Just Knee Deep by the Funkadelic boys..   Hard to believe these guys shared a record label with KISS...

Don't Bring Me Down  by the Animals...

You Shook Me All Night Long  by AC/DC

Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil.. You know this is as close of a faithful to the album (most dangerous party) because I'm not a fan of Midnight Oil at all..

I Can't Make You Love Me  by Bonnie Raitt....

These three songs, Time is Tight, Hip Hug Her, and Green Onions, were presented as a medley and all three songs did run together.. By Booker T and the MG's..

Dance To The Music ....  Sly and the Family Stone.. Actually this is I Want to Take You Higher.. This has the energy and the want to have the party go on and on and never end...  Enjoy, crank it up and leave this crappy year behind us.. Let's hope for a better 2013... Happy new year to everyone who visits the Phudge Nuts site..

AFTER CHRISTMAS BEFORE NEW YEARS OVER THE SHOULDER BOULDER.. NEVER MIND

Possibly the more interesting version of this years wall.. Taking a good number of videos from people around the stadium.. Part one.. THE WALL by Roger Waters

Part two of this version of The Wall..

How important is this concert really??  I mean there isn't any true live sequences between the audience and the band.. In fact there is no audience at all, so why would this be such a huge show to see then?  Well if you've never seen it then you don't know the answer.. And if you have seen it and still have no idea why it is so great then ..  move along...

The great Pink Floyd as Time.. What exactly or where is this from??  Could be a version worked on for the album, or for the live shows from then.. I think it is from the Eclipse box set, fan release.. Sounds very familiar to me.. Could be wrong though.. I don't have everything they have ever released.. Close but not every little thing, nobody does..

Imagine Richard Wright playing the full grand organ like this ..  UFB   so seriously cool..

Rare scary or trippy bit by the Floyd, I think around the Zabriski Point soundtrack when they were working on the next album that was never made.. The one where they tried to make musical sounds with household items.. That might have been the most ambitious album they ever did, but instead they ended up making Atom Heart Mother.. A masterpiece that everyone poo poos today as being utter rubbish but of which I feel was a needed step in their evolution towards making huge sellers..

A live version of Atom Heart Mother Suite done a year or more before they released it.. No choir was backing them..

For your after the Christmas blues needs..

BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR

FISCAL CLIFF EXPLAINED A BIT:::::

Lesson # 1:
  • U.S. Tax Revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
  • Federal Budget: $3,820,000,000,000
  • New Debt: $1,650,000,000,000
  • National Debt: $14,271,000,000,000
  • Recent Budget cuts: 38,500,000,000
Let’s now remove 8 zeros and pretend it’s a household budge:
  • Annual family income: $21,700
  • Money the family spent: $38,200
  • New debt on the credit card: $16,500
  • Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
  • Total budget cuts so far: $385
Got it?…. OK now…
Lesson # 2
Here’s another way of looking at the Debt Ceiling:
Let’s say you come home from work and find there has been a serwe backup in your neighborhood… and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.  What do you think you should do?
Raise the ceiling or remove the shit?
