When things started to get weird between Neal Schon and Steve Perry.. Steve released two solo albums that sounded an awful lot like Journey.. Neal Schon worked with Jam Hammer, and the great HSAS project as well which neither one could be mistaken for Journey.. And then his first true solo album.. Still can't be confused with the Journey at that moment anyway, maybe a bit like they sounded pre Steve Perry... 

I hate it when a group abandons a cool song.. KISS Uh All Night is just such a song...

Pure POWER  rock & roll yer nuts completely.. Have fun, get in fights.. Which is why Eric Bell was given the boot, he nearly cut his hand off before their first ever trip to America and got booted out of the band.. He would play on the final tour before Phil died.. Is the new version of Thin Lizzy as good as the old days??  I don't know, I don't care.. Living in the past with past glories    that's ok.. Rock on!!
