SOON TOO... or TOO SOON

THIS VIDEO IS FROM A HYPNOSIS VIDEO.. And I don't think there is any subliminal video stuff here but I'm not sure..   This is the start of some video works that will showcase some ideas I have started to get.. Trying to acquire certain visuals for ideas that I want to just mess with.. Clipping videos and editing the music.. Working on graphics as well as all aspects of everything involved to try to get the final product to be as close to my vision as I can get..

Homeless is a song that pops into my head fairly regular and for that matter was something I was hearing through the past month or so.. I can't explain it.. The guitar is just mesmerizing, the parts that flow into each other.. I'm   not sure which of the three guys are playing the part as all three were guitar players on this album.. Zlatko was the guest guitarist so I like to think he was the one, however the length of the part makes me tend to think it is Edgar .. But Jerome is equal to the task as he played on the track above (Backstreet Hero)...

Oriental Haze, the first song on the album 220 volt live and the signature or how their music sounds.. That might be good or it could also be bad depending on how you feel.. Tangerine Dream started in the early sixties and this album was released in the early nineties so they evolved quite dramatically over the years.. This album was my starting point with their music and I figured I would get the live album and then look for those songs from this album on the corresponding studio albums.. Which would work with any other band but with these guys it wasn't that way.. They would record bits from the tour and not have them be from a studio album almost ever.. That was the way in the early days, less so now though as they do play familiar songs at their concerts now...  They were more of an improv type of band in the early days playing nearly all new music at their shows...  From this album I moved back in time as there were nearly no new albums after this one at that time, of course that has changed since they started their own record label and released some four albums a year on a slow year. other years would see back recordings released.. Old stuff and new.. Never before heard and familiar music as well..

Finally there is Hamlet..  If I wasn't sold on the band by this point, Hamlet did the trick.. Turns out Edgar plays the lead guitar and guitar synthi on this track..  There is a certain amount of emotion that is within this track that is where the sudden attraction to their music came from and like most people who do a drug for the first time, chasing that feeling is what became paramount in my addiction to their music..  I would get satisfied in several recordings over the next few years as getting just about everything they ever released was nearly impossible.. But it was fun trying...
