THE END OF JULY.. (stay cool out there)

Finally today after complaining for  a couple of weeks I checked into addons for the Firefox/Aurora browser that might be causing the ads to be showing up on Facebook/Twitter, and it turns out it was possibly a couple that I am not even sure what they do... But at first I disabled them to check and when both sites were clean of the three ads (on Twitter, four on Facebook) I knew that was the problem.. I figured I would go the easy route first with the addons then check a few other things, since it is the FF browsers that have this problem I thought it should be a simple solution..  The browser seems to load faster and more complete now..

So will I or won't I upload the Apprentice U.K. ??  Still in the process of watching the final although I already saw Ricky get the invitation to work with Lord Sugar, there is still the winners circle type of thing to watch..

Today's subject heading "the end of july" of course is WRONG.. It's just wishful thinking knowing that June is usually a slow warm up to the heat of July, we will likely have up to nine more weeks of this hot weather.. GOODY!!

A second video that will go up on the other site just came to me, the idea for it.. Actually I'm coming up with a great number of ideas to try both videos and stories and some interesting things to set that site apart from this one..

If you've noticed that the writing part of the entry is no longer interspersed with the pictures now, that is by design.. If I have  a related comment I will put it under or above the picture, like I've done in the past couple of entries and music videos..

THE ALL IMPORTANT..

 This isn't a picture I took, but I did doctor it to an extreme, using the new settings that are available on Picasa   when they were about to shut down the Piknic site.. Why they buy sites like that and then dissolve them is beyond me but that is the parent company's Google way I guess.. I never used Piknic, but have had certain things by Google be changed or stopped altogether..

 Mom talked to Jordan recently, heard she got a new kitty, and all I could think was .. What are you crazy, cats is just plain nuts..  Fun yes, loveable yes, but off their nut..   P'ing in the hallway, crapping in your shoes, barfing in your bed...  Lotsa fun though..

You know, I haven't smelled smoke yet this summer even with Colorado burning the way it is.. But the strangest thing is I think this smoke we smell might be from South Dakota and Montana.. Can't believe almost every state around us has at least one fire burning..  Woke up with yellow as the main color produced by the sunlight and it reminded me of when Yellowstone burned some time ago..

Did the "spring cleaning" on the computer earlier today.. It needed it but I continue to be surprised that the processor still isn't covered in dust.. I see horror stories of techies removing the cover and seeing dust bunnies in the tower/laptop of peoples computers.. I thought there would be more troubles when I opened the tower today but there wasn't hardly any dust at all.. The worst part of the clean out was the keyboard.. Very dusty keyboard.. Got it all done fairly quickly, maybe around ten minutes from removal of the hookups to taking all those screws off (2) to get the cover off..


One of the pluses to watering the grass as much as I have had to do and as late as I have is that for the first time in a long time I saw a couple of fireflies..  There in the lillac bush in the corner part of the house.. Also I am noticing the butterflies are more abundant suddenly and more dragonflies, but not nearly in the same quantity that we had in the past few years..

The fire hydrant;  This is the second part of my Facebook picture, the background picture I think is what it is called and it is this picture that is what is the background picture of the other site..  It was an easy choice between this and the one that I used for here, in fact it was the one that I used for here but change my mind wanting the other site to look different.. I wanted them to be similar but different, relative but not relative..    By the way how can I have more viewers there than I have here??    I don't get it..  Oh well.. Thatsa the internets for you  uh??

ARE YOU SURE IT'S THAT WAY..

 This made me think of Donald and Lucy and they're new DJ thing they are trying to do.. I'm not sure there are enough people wanting to hear that dub or dance trance thing they like to do but.. There are a lot of tweekers around so more power to them...

 I'll vote in this election, the pizza party   sign me up!!!

To clarify from yesterdays entry, yes I have started another blog but none of this odd shit will be there, however the original video for the "Goin' Back" project will be loaded there..  I looked at that video today again and I think I did make the right choice on which one to load although it has it's own merits to be seen and it will be shortly there.. And I will link that sight to this one after a few more entries are there which could take a while.. First entry was on Tuesday (I think) and the second one hasn't been thought out yet..

There's a show on one of the cable channels called repo games I think and it is a fairly good show, except the people can't get the easiest questions right.. The other night they did three questions that i thought after the people couldn't get even one question right they should not only have lost their car but their right to drive.. Dumb as a lump.. Stupid as a bag of hammers.. 


Just watched the final of The Apprentice U.K. and I had no clue who would win this one this year,,Turns out this year was Ricky Martin (not THE Ricky Martin) and it was really close as the head person, Lord Sugar, wavered between the two and nearly went with the risky adventure but in the end he went with the better investment.. Safer investment anyway.. I think the strained economy made the choice for him easier..  I think last years was a better series but I like watching that version over the American version, not just because Trump is a blowhard but mostly because it shows how strategy works in the business setting..  Really interesting show, I might try to load the final show on my Youtube for a short time..
