MY THAND CHIS WICK

As I left a meeting at a local hotel, I desperately gave myself a personal TSA pat down.  I was looking for my car keys. They were not in my pockets.
A quick search in the meeting room revealed nothing.  Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I headed for the parking lot.
My wife has scolded me many times for leaving the keys in the ignition but my theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them.  Her theory is that the car will be stolen. As I burst through the door, I came to a terrifying conclusion.
Her theory was right. The parking lot was empty.
I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that it had been stolen.
Then I made the most difficult call of all, (after waiting some time to compose myself).  “Honey,” I stammered; I always call her “honey” in times like these.  “I left my keys in the car, and it has been stolen.”
There was a period of silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard her voice.  “Idiot,” she barked, “I dropped you off!”
Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, “Well, come and get me.”
She retorted, “I will, as soon as I convince this policeman I have not stolen your car.”
Yep it’s the golden years.

Found a site that had these pictures of some pretty far out motor skooters...  Cycles as it were..

I have been trying to make some of the pictures larger so the smaller print is readable but the pictures are starting to be run together on some or most of my entries now (not by my doing, if you thought it was) and so here is how you see these larger without me doing it for you, just click the picture, and it will become bigger, or should.. That's how it works for me anyway..

How about all them wild fires out there??  The scary thing is they can happen anywhere because it is so hot and dry.. I said this would be a long assed hot assed miserable (assed?) summer and so here we are, harvest is half or nearly half over and June isn't even done yet.. So with harvest being over before the forth of July does this mean football season will start early too??   Did the groundhog see his shadow??  Is it really the end of the world this December??   Can we end the world now so we don't have to put up with three more months of 90+ degrees weather??

We went out to check harvest with the boo Saturday evening and just outside of town there was a combine cutting away and the wind was blowing so hard that it made it look like the combine was rocket propelled with the chaff blowing out it's ass end.. Wish I could have gotten video of that.. I could tell the combine was moving fairly fast, usually they move at maybe two miles an hour at top speed in a field like that.. The wheat must have been very thin there.  Pretty sad, but I think people might be surprised at the harvest this year, might be better than they thought with it being three weeks early.. Saw some dry land corn.. There is the definition of sad..  Very short stalks, very poor showing for this year..
