OH HAIL NO!!

An elderly couple are attending a church service.  About halfway through, she writes a note and hands it to her husband.
It says, “I’ve just let out a silent fart.  What do you think I should do?”
He scribbles back,  “Put a new battery in your hearing aid!”

When the all alerts radio (weather radio) went off yesterday I checked the radar on the internet and saw there was a storm but it looked like it was again going north of us and so I didn't think we would see much.. We got the rain.. Well technically it rained, enough to get the bottom of the rain gauge wet, barely.. Then about a half an hour later as the sun started to come out there was a loud ping here and a thud there and I knew that was hail.. The reason I didn't freak out was it wasn't chilling out temperature wise..  It was warm, in fact it got hot after it sprinkled.. It warmed by ten degrees just that quick..  There was very little in the way of hail damage although the "hail magnets" were on full pull I'm sure..  The biggest worry for me when it started to hail was the feeling that it wouldn't last because a few years ago we had the same thing happen, had a little rain storm followed by a hail storm where the hail stones were softball sized and wreaked all sorts of havoc.. Fun..

The music entry could be interesting because the videos I have loaded here on Blogger haven't been flagged at all so I might try some more videos..  Might be fun.. 

I was watching a chaser yesterday as he headed to an area that was familiar and then started to come closer to home.. I like watching when they are in familiar areas but also don't like it because that can only mean one thing.. The weather is going to be potentially bad here...  Watched another heading our way down the interstate from Cheyenne and he was hauling ass to get here staying in the "hammer lane" pretty much the entire time..   I'd love to do what Hannah Waddell does, hang with a chase team for a week or two.. I'm not sure I'd like to be out for an extended period of time. That one crew went from the midlands of Texas to just south of  Canada in just a few short hours (24 give or take)..   

In the computer situation..: A couple years ago I had an hp (POS) XP that shut itself off fairly regularly.. Lately this computer has had the opposite happen, where I put it in sleep mode and come by later and it is not sleeping.. Now I'm sure it does go to sleep but there is a chance I don't witness the light turn to yellow to show it is in fact in sleep mode.. But  if it does wake up on it's own I wonder what could cause that..  I used to leave the computer on over night to get some of the bigger downloads but as the heat of summer kicks in I shut the computer completely off..  Thinking of saving computer life that way.. I hope anyway.. 

Skootrs panties seemed to be in a twist yesterday.. She acted like she was in a funk and my only guess why was because of the tree situation.. I fixed it yet again.. The last time I messed with it was to try to keep it from falling over. I pinned it against the wall and she seemed to not like that idea and stayed away from it for a while, but then started to be the rowdy cat she always is..
