WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT THAT.. VERY.. THING..

After Saturdays "clear out" You would think we have space like never before. Not the case, we still have plenty o' crap left to toss..  Once you get on a role it seems so easy to toss things.. I hate that feeling or just toss this or toss that.. There is some history in most of the stuff I tossed Saturday.. The CED disc player and the discs were particularly hard to toss because after thinking about it they remind me of the old 8-track tapes.. I've said I think 8-tracks were the record industries joke on the consumers.. They played alright at first but after getting crinkled every play through the tapes got weakened  and could even start to drag if enough ridges were formed, just like cassette tapes, they were better to let play through rather than fast forward or rewind which 8-tracks couldn't do (rewind)...

The yard is looking better but I would give it a five, up from a two and a half.. Mowing will be every week now through the end of October.. Strange how it has taken til now for the grass to start growing.. I've watered the living shit out of it, more in the past three weeks than I have ever this early in the season..

As mentioned in yesterdays entry we went to berg junior Saturday and on our way back we were in a storm.. We welcome any rain we get anymore, and I watched the lightning all over the place and a few times I was glad it wasn't dark when we were coming home.. There was a few strikes that looked like it could start a fire and one area where I think it did, along the river..  The wheat looks horrible this year, some burning up and other turning a lot earlier than it usually does..  I know a lot of farmers are hoping for hail this year, usually they start holding their breath about now hoping the weather cooperates..  I figure the first test cuts could be as early as around the 21 of June nearly three weeks early.. The last few harvests have been later than usual..

BH
