Just a few quick thoughts: As we changed the clocks last night I keep thinking why do we do this twice a year?? It seems like everyone hates doing this and yet it is like we have to or else.. Started in the seventies sometime, and I'm sure it was voted in by some lame assed country.. The government of pin heads.. Ok, I'm talking about the United States.. My country..
We have had a whistle that blows four times a day for the past forever and when it blows everything is right with the world except for when it blows unexpectedly...Such as when we are having an electrical storm and the power goes out, when it comes back on the whistle blows and that means any time of the day or NIGHT.. This morning at three it blew and I wake up with it and when it was still dark I thought just what the hell is this about..
The Peyton Manning issue: My feeling is if he comes to Denver it will be a short fix to a quarterback situation that they could fix with Tebow just settling in.. No threats to his job so an interception won't bench him in favor of the waterboy... The offensive line has shown off Tebows ability ti scramble, something Orton couldn't do and Manning can't.. Manning has more in common with Morino than Tebow.. He is a great passer but can't run and if he goes to Denver he better wear roller skates...
Iran: "We need to bomb Iran so they don't get the nuke".. Eventually we are going to go to war somewhere where another country is going to say no.. NO NO NO.. You went too far, and that country will either be Russia or China.. Do we want to piss either of those two countries off?? Everyone is saying a quick strike and we could be out really fast.. They said the same thing about Afghanistan and look, WE'RE STILL THERE TEN PLUS YEARS LATER, Oh and how do you think we would feel if some country invaded us and occupied us for that long?? See Pearl Harbor, and then what happened?? Japan didn't totally invade mainland U.S. If they had guess what would have happened?? Yep, we would have fought tooth and nail to rid them from our shores.. Well we feel offended that they don't feel full love for us in the countries we are in... See how we would feel, they really aren't any different than us... Time to reassess how things are done I think...
The republican party is going to get their candidate picked for the general election, but wouldn't it be kinda cool to see a "brokered" convention?? I mean I've never seen one, and would just love to see what would happen in that instance.. Could be controlled insanity, sort of the way the republican party has been this past year or two... Could be interesting.. Our election process shown for the world to see... A whole new way..
