Four years and nine months ago something that we didn't think would happen did happen.. Me and mom both thought there would be little to no chance that Donald would have kids, but then it happened.. They announced to everyone that in fact Lucy was pregnant and then on the forth day of March 2008 they were blessed (if you want to call it that (joking of course)) with a little boy.. When she was pregnant she was sure she would have a girl, Bob had two girls so I think her reasoning was that she thought for sure she would have a girl and was so sure and wanted one so bad.. I told her before she got that ultrasound a few weeks later that I bet it would be a boy.. The more she wanted to have a girl the more I was sure it would be a boy and sure enough they found out that it was going to be a boy.. Then the question was what were they going to name him.. Logic would put the fathers name in there somewhere so we started calling him DJ (short for Donald junior) and that was what we kept calling him until that day he was born.. That was the day he told us the name.. Ian was named for no one in the family keeping the line intact, Bob's girls didn't have a first or middle name for anyone in the family and Donald would keep that going with their only child (more than likely).. First name Ian, second name was after her dad, the guy who ran out on them.. Hmmmm Odd choice.. I thought he should have been named after his dad, something like Donald, Ian (?) Davis or Donald Robert Davis (the Robert is after his dad, rather than what everyone just says W.. Because I can't phathom a guess at the spelling of the name because I can't even pronounce it..
They had his forth party last night, someone asked how old he was now and at the time of asking he was three years and 365 days with this being a leap year everyone has to wait an extra day for their birthday...
The Tabitha saga continues as she got back home this past week on a day that we figure was less harking and able to stay upright and not.. Give at the office as it were.. She wasn't able to get her morning sickness med filled before she came home for that weekend so she got it while she was here.. I think, and I am just talking out of my ass here I don't know facts or nothing, but I think she might get the money from some source (such as her mom or Jordan) and then spends that on something a friend (boyfriend ?) and doesn't get what she intended it for.. I think she needs to be more selfish now.. Think of herself first more.. I think Bob & Freda want Jordan to take more of an active role in helping Tabitha and that is fine but it can be overwhelming no doubt... With Jordan getting ready to have her wedding this summer she kinda has her hands full already.. Sounds like excitement and all that.. She must be the one to blame for the time flying by, the first two months of this year have just flown by... Anyway the clock seems to have a malfunction, it never moved this fast when I was working...
